Welcome to Our First Grade Website!
Can you believe Spring has arrived? This school year has been great, but it's not over yet. We have many more things to learn and much to explore before Summer Break begins. Please help me keep your child in "school mode" by discussing the school day with him or her, checking homework, and carefully looking through your child's courier each week. Don't forget to sign those planners nightly, too!

The first grade is such an awesome year of developement and learning! Students become more independent, become more fluent readers, learn to be problem solvers, and so much more. My students take part in acitivities and projects that are both exciting and challenging at the same time. We go beyond the state standards and curriculum to enhance student acheivement and create a love of learning. There will be fun field trips too!
